Hlášení o údržbě systému

25. 3. 2004

Maintenance report

3/25/2004

The web site was closed between 10:00 and 18:00 HT time today for maintenance, three hours longer than expected. For the last couple of months we have focused on radically improving the performance of the system. Today we have installed new hard disks and installed redundant fiber links to the hard disks. We have also upgraded the operating system to a faster version on one of our two main database servers. This server has also been given more memory. We are also happy to welcome our latest web server: Say hello to www7.hattrick.org! www1.hattrick.org has been replaced by a new and faster server.

When we opened the site just before 18.00, many tried to log in at the same time and www.hattrick.org became a bottle-neck for some time. Another temporary effect of the closing will be that the site is slow for several hours more, as the system catches up and cache files are recreated. Please bear with us and our sincere apologies for any inconvenience that we may have caused you.
